Watched most of the trial. If he doesn't end up in jail it will be a miscarriage of justice not to mention the riots it will unleash.

Only takes one juror to say “hmmm..I’m not sure”.

I would never want to be a juror in such a high visibility trial.

You're not wrong though. The prosecution's medical expert was devastating.

I did not watch the trial . Just heard the bits and pieces from various sources . The evidence against him is very weak . There are many pieces of evidence that to me would raise reasonable doubt . Some prosecution witnesses actually agreed with the defense lawyer on their evidence .

Doubt it. It's not like she's detaining a high criminal, who was arrested 9 times before , who resisted arrest for passing counterfeit money and who pointed a loaded gun at a pregnant woman’s belly and spent years in jail for armed robbery ,with a knee on their neck
Fixed it for ya

Interesting. Like you I didnt watch it and just tried to gleam what was going on.

I didnt class the evidence as weak. I guess I saw it just not as clear cut as you would want either way. I guess that could be called weak. Lots of experts looking at the same stuff while drawing different conclusions.

As a lay person there were lots of things going on and the 2nd guy in the vehicle taking the 5th didnt help the whole drug angle.

In the end the video itself was what as a single element convinced me that the officer is guilty. Guilty of what level of responsibility in the death is the big question for me that I do not know the answer to.

No win here, either way the smoke and fire of discontent will be present.

Entertainment media has had a field day, their correspondents at the ready to log overtime for the next 2 weeks.

Get ready, the bias machines are warming up their respective engines.

I watched parts of the trial. Prosecution was pretty good. Defence's only tactic was to try to **** on everything to get a whiff of doubt. Chauvin's captain even said it wasn’t anything they taught and it wasn’t procedure. That should tell you all you need to know.

What evidence are you talking about . The evidence that the officers knee was not on the back of his neck . The arresting officer was following use of force tactics taught to him . The amount of fentanyl in the suspects blood was enough to kill him . That suspects use the tactic of " I can't breathe " to give police a hard time . The evidence that in the video the suspect talked just fine .

What evidence would not give you reasonable doubt ?

Could the arrest been handled better . Yes of course . But from the beginning these charges are political . The media completely misrepresented what happened . If the guy was white everyone would have moved on . Instead they made him into a hero .

Entertainment media got caught again. The autopsy report on the DC cop who was reportedly (NY Times, CNN) killed by a fire extinguisher blow to the head came out today. He died of natural causes, a massive stroke unrelated to the days events.

Guess that’s -1 for friends of Antifa.

Funny how the legacy media keeps mentioning 5 or 6 people killed at the protest . When you actually look at what happened . One protestor was shot and killed by a nameless cop . The rest died of medical emergencies .

Watched most of the trial... particular the testimony from the witnesses that actually mattered.
On rebuttal of the witnesses or the only what the media wanted you to see .

She wasn't shot by a cop.
It wasn't "antifa" that was tearing the place up.
I didn't think the hit from the extinguisher looked to be that hard... but since he was actually hit with it and died shortly after... It was a 'not unreasonable' assumption that it was what killed him.
Unrelated?? You don't think the stress from being there, in that situation, was a contributor to his stroke happening when it did?
