Chain lube

The best lube I have used so far is 90W gear oil. I apply it and let it drip off overnight. Afterwards I spray some Maxima chain wax over the gear oil. It seems to reduce the amount of gear oil flinging off.

Sounds overly complicated.

I just spray some Dupont chainsaver - and replace the chain every 40k - 50k.
