Anyone know where I can get some Maxima chain wax in Toronto? Don't want to drive all the way to GP Bikes.
Can be any similar chain lube.
Thank you

I just bought the chain care kit from fortnine. free shipping with new brake fluid, havent tried it yet but watched a lot of reviews and seems to be pretty damn good stuff

Which oil should I use, when, before winter, after winter, where can I buy blinker fluid, which bike should I buy. I am 8` tall, what are the best gym shoes to buy before I crash, cheapest helmets.

What is life?

Thank you r3r3r3 for the inspiration.

free shipping above a certain $ amount iirc. Typically 2 days for me.
Yeah but the issue is they want $10 shipping for a $13 product. $49 needed for free shipping lol

So order a bunch, or some tools/accessories to do some winter project work. :geek:

But seriously I've been using the Motomaster chain lube from CT for $6.99 and it works just fine. The chain and sprockets on my current bike are at 43,000 kms and still look like new. (I also clean it with kerosene every 3rd or so lubing)

The only issue with this lube is that it's very runny so you gotta wait for it to dry before you ride. The higher end lubes will have some kind of sticking agent in them so you can spray it on and immediately ride and it won't fling off.

I love the Dupont Teflon stuff. When applied properly, it never flings off and the chain doesn't attract dirt - which means the sprockets, chain guard, chain runner, and countersprocket cover never fill up with guck.

how soon before this thread becomes an argument on which lube is superior? ?
Right now. Fortnine and most manufacturer manuals say gear oil.

Thats because they are not allowed to say whale oil,
which is a very good thing because I do not support whale hunting (n)

Town Moto (Ossington/Queen ish) and Flying Squirrel (Carlaw/Gerrard) are in Toronto as well. As is motocicletta (?) The dealer, and studio cycle (Keele/Dundas ish?).
There's a sticky of dealers and shops somewhere on here I think.
