Cbr600rr owners help!

I need to get this figured out ASAP State Farm wants to see my bike before they insure me. And I'm not sure what they're gonna look at and how picky they're gonna be. I wanna be riding by this wknd!!

Sounds like you are having two issues now one with your wiring for your tail light and one with the battery.

When I did mine I couldn't find a lot of info to confirm wiring or understand it. Here is a link to a thread I made that discusses what to do and ultimately what I ended up doing:

Ok so I got er going again turns out it was a fuse and the bat went dead.. So now I have a new problem I have the integrated light installed and wired up but now when the bike is on the brake light is on constantly and it won't go off instead of just the running light. Any ideas to what may be causing this??

Ok but on my bike I don't have the black/yellow black/white wires on the bike. I only have the green/orange and blue/green for turn singles and for running/brake/ground I have red/black/white so I'm stumped here the wiring instructions I got from cbr heaven are useless to me. I have the 07

This is the three wired plug I cut off my stock tail light and it's red black white

And on the bike itself the white plug that the black plug connects too it
has three wires which are green, black/white, and green/yellow

Yeah tried swapping them and still brake light still stays lit. Would my front flush mount turn singles have anything to do with it?

GO TO MY LINK I PROVIDED TO YOU KNOWING YOU WOULD HAVE AN ISSUE AND READ IT! You need to add in resistors and a diode since you do not have their jumper harness to convert the running/brake/ground to the +/- on the led light.

The green wires that are with the single lights from the tail light did you ground them to the other ground wires or did you just leave them?

I need a little help I know this is a sled forum but I'm pretty sure we have some sport bike owners on here. Here my situation. I have an 07 cbr600rr and I bought the integrated tail light from cbr heaven which I wired up yesterday but In the process I accidentally touch to wires together that I shouldn't have and I think I shorted something out. I disconnected the light and now when I turn the key the bike seems dead and I hear a clicking noise when I try to start it and all the lights are dim on my display?? Any ideas to what I might have done? Think I just killed the battery or maybe it's a fuse? I'm thinking I may have to make a trip to the dealer...

have i mised that much ??

Lol I posted it on a sled forum that I go on lots dootalk becuz I knew they're had to be some cbr owner on it. I just copied and pasted it to this forum not noticing that part tell after my post

The cbr600rr has led lights factory for running and brake, you shouldn't need resistors or anything for them.

Yes!! I finally got everything figured out and put back together looks and works great! So I have one more question. I have to bring my bike into State Farm tomorrow they wanna see it before they insure me. Has anyone had to do this before? Just to be safe I spliced in an extra set of single lights in just in case they were gonna pick at my IT. I just wanna no what they are gonna look at and pick at? If anything at all or if they just wanna take a pic.

They just take pictures and look for a power commander which if they find one will deny your policy.

I think they just take pictures no real inspection. So what was wrong?
+1 to both.

I'm pretty sure my broker seen my PC, she wanted to see where the alarm was installed, which is right beside the PC

Thanks for the input! Hopefully ill be riding this wknd! My trucks costing me wayyyy to much in fuel lol. What was wrong? The guy who had installed a different IT before for me made a mess of the wiring so I had to re-trace all the wiring and remove the roll of electrical tape he had used and I found that be used different colored wires so nothing was matching up with the cbr heaven instructions. It was a mess. And being my first time doing a IT it was very stressful lol

i asked my broker if they care if i change anything on the bike, she said as long as i dot put a turbo or nitous on it they dont care.
but to be safe, my bike was stock for the pictures with the exception of my pazzos.. they just asked me to take the pictures and email them in. front, back left right and vin # on frame and one of ownership.

Was this State Farm? How long ago. They've just been doing it recently. When I got my new bike they asked me to fax them over receipts of the ish I add so they can better total it up next time I right it off. When I faxed the invoice for the power commander she called me right away and said she put the fax in the shredder. They've been denying claims and policies to bikes with power commanders.

So it stands, no turbo/nitrous/power commander :(

So I went to State Farm yesterday and got insured. All they wanted to do was take a pic of the bike and vin. They didn't check for no pc or even question me about anything.

If accident should occur, remove power commander. Problem solved.
