I would report that matter to area police station. Take all your witness information with you as well and get this ****** charged with fail to remain.
2 years ago my bike was hit in a similar fashion and the idiot picked it and left without leaving any note or info. A citizen who witnessed the accident called the police and officer was able to locate the car and charged the cager.

A coworker told me before if you have the plate # you can put it into the MTO online sticker renewal, and if that sticker is up for renewal within 6 months it asks you to confirm your name, with name = profit
