CBR 125 uphill?

Not really. At 80km/h the 125 is like a frenzied little poodle on the verge of heart attack, where the 1000 at 80km/h is like cruising pit lane at Daytona going "yo wat up?

Anyone who tells you that a 125 or 250 is a toy and a 500 is not, is trying to sell you a 500.

A 125 is fine on a hill, you just have to pedal harder;), and shift more than on a bigger bike.

People on bigger bikes never learn to shift.

A chick? I'm not yellow and I don't have feathers. But anyway, go ahead and discriminate. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it but there is no such thing as a toy motorcycle. I guess you aren't mature enough yet to realize that. A bike is a bike, regardless of size.

But your sentiment is correct.....and I started on a 40cc Allstate. Something like a 125 CBR would have been heaven.

Everyone learns at a different pace. And certainly nothing wrong with a bigger bike, if you have the maturity and sense to learn responsibly and spend within your range for insurance.

Besides, OP is probably not even following the thread anymore...fed up by now or questioning their choice of ccs on ego alone. Meh :/

I'm not sure on the cc because I've only been on one once and it was just in a parking lot but it is very easy to wheelie when you put it into second without letting off on the throttle. They don't have a clutch so to switch gears, you just let go of the throttle and stomp or kick up. The gears can be changed up and down on it. (Four stomps down to get into 4th and vice versa up.. A little different than a regular bike) lol I squealed like a pig when I did it but it was fun as hell. lol Because of that, I'm seriously considering getting one just to piss around on with friends in a lot and have mini races on them. haha So much fun.
 
Picked up a 2000 Kawi EX500r for pretty cheap. Love it so far, just need to look around for some cheap insurance :P

Didn't read the whole thread so maybe this has been addressed already but there is no way there is a road with a 45 degree incline on it.
