You take them apart and bring em to me, I will dip them (BerryMan's Chem Dip), 24 hours latter come and get them, put them back together and install them, done. If it's a large set of carbs ie 4, it will take longer, I can't fit a whole rack in at once into the can....

I'm gonna resurrect this thread.

How much does a carb clean up usually cost? I called GP bikes in whitby and they charge around 300$ for my bike (yamaha r6 2001). I kind of think that's expensive..

If anything I'll probably just do the Seafoam route or go to Rosey Toes depending on the cost..

take the carbs off yourself and dump them in pine sol

haha thx for the response boys (or girls). I have the service manual for the bike but I don't want to tamper with it. Its better if I let someone who has more experience than me to clean it. Plus I am not very patient when it involves 20+ parts. Anyone know how much Rosey charges?

It shouldn't dislodge rust.

Even if it did, that's what fuel filters are for.

The guck from inproper storage usually occurs in the float bowls. Seafoam is good for this.

Seafoam that sucker first.

Step 1 - Empty Gas Tank
Step 2 - Pour Sea Foam in tank
Step 3 - Run bike around block
Step 4 - White Smoke
Step 5 - Leave it for a few hours (over night if possible)
Step 6 - Fill tank with Gas and you are done.
