Can't delete my own post?

Upfront, i am a tech numbskull but i can't figure out how to delete my own post.
When i go to EDIT it then offers only SAVE and CANCEL neither of which do anything. I do not not see a DELETE feature.
It's in the "Birders" thread in Romper Room. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't want edit. Click the three dots and pick delete instead of edit. If the forum is being annoying and not giving that choice, edit post and remove all content so it's blank.

Thanks for the tips but i can't get either method to work.
Clicking on the three dots does not provide the DELETE option for me.
Clicking on EDIT and removing all the content leaves me with only the SAVE or CANCEL option or do nothing option. All three of these attempts have proved unsuccessful. No doubt, operator error. lol
