I'm a little bitter towards Arai as in the past, their certified helmets failed the performance tests. When paying for a premium brand, it is entirely unacceptable to have multiple fails imo. It makes me concerned as to how much focus is on engineering vs marketing.
Canadian Tire is too much a department store to sell gear of any quality. Joe Rocket is not the highest of quality gear, but it's not the lowest either. Imagine the helmets on the floor at the end of the day with children's popsicle fingerprints all over them. Unless they had demos attached by cord and the purchase helmets behind glass, Joe Rocket will end up taking too much of a loss. Canadian Tire should stick to selling Chinese junk that lasts a month.
