I dont like dealing with dealerships, and now is not a good time to leave the house, anyone know of a good Canadian OEM parts retailer for future?

Ordered with Partzilla, UPS hit me with a big import fee(not a tax, just a pointless fee)
tried to pay it, but their website was designed by monkeys and not taking payment so its a nobueno, they're holding my parts and I cant get them on the phone either

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer  such as Honda or Kawasaki or Yamaha, maybe even Showa or Brembo What is it you actually need? & are used parts an option?

Genuine replacement parts are only available from authorized dealers. Depending on the make, that will influence opportunity. Please be more specific.
Bear in mind, during the Covid-19 shutdown supply chains are in a mess. There's more to motorcycles right now, so for the time being get used to sporadic service no matter what the business. Been to a CTC or Home Depot lately ?

I waited close to a month for fork seals to come in from Yamaha via Burlington cycle .

After they reopened after a two week shut down they claim they were still behind in getting orders.
Kelly's cycle in Hamilton claimed they didn't have a delay anymore. But I didn't test out this claim

RevZilla in USA can get OEM parts but F9 can't. ?

What are you looking for?

I actually spoke the Adrian at Ace Moto in Milton and he can also get OEM parts but said that prices would be same as at any other dealer or similar.
There isn't much mark up on OEM parts

Fork seals for 90% of models are available aftermarket, the dealer didn't try very hard or you were looking for something pretty odd.
I know getting genuine Yamaha parts is a big problem right now, I've been waiting over 2 weeks from a local dealer.
If Revzilla is sourcing OEM parts they have some kind of arrangement with a dealer, Fortnine is aftermarket only.

Bike is 2008 FZ6
I actually had a set of All Balls seals and ended up returning them.
Based on a recommendation of a few different people OEM is the way to go for fork seals as others are known to leak shortly after.

I specifically asked and ordered OEM

All Balls products in my experience are just fine. So now you wait....

I recently got a bunch of different Suzuki small parts from Snow City. For 1 order I had to wait a few days as the parts were not in stock, 2 other orders (forgot to order some stuff before) were in stock and ready for pickup on the same/next day. I used their parts finder and ordered online. They sent me a text msg to confirm the order status and then another one when it's ready for curbside pick up. Really nice and easy process..

I rebuilt the front forks for a friend last year (Kawasaki MX bike) He bought the all balls fork kit for the bike and half the slide bushings were garbage. The parts did not meet anywhere near OEM spec.

If all you want is fork seals or steering head bearings their stuff is fine. Can't comment on fork bushings, I've never used theirs.
Your results may (and did) differ.

He apparently had little choice over buying parts or an entire kit, it was a bit ridiculous what they put in the kit considering the most important parts were unusable, he paid way more for the kit then if he just bought the required OEM parts. About 1/3rd of the kit parts went on and the rest went into my assorted spare parts drawer. But they did throw in some nice stickers and I scooped those.

Well I guess I won't know the difference as I do not have the All Balls and pick up my OEM set a few days ago.

I think that translates to about $20CDN.

I've been using Dillon in Nebraska for 10+ years. They will ship USPS and I've never been hit with a customs charge, fee or taxes. Savings are reduced now due to the CAN dollar, but still less expense and you may find that overall lead times are similar.

In my experience online availbility for OEM parts in Canada is very limited and an order from a dealer has to be done over the phone or in person, which is a huge pain vs. doing it online and then just waiting for CP to deliver it to your door.

Will keep this in mind in case I'm in a pinch in the future.

But I just checked the fork seal kit I recently purchased.
I paid $43.99CAD + HST locally.
The have it for $40.99 US + possible tax and shipping and conversion.

Even if our $ was at par its hard to make the argument for buying from them vs local.
And if the CAD is closer to par, I am sure our local prices would reflect that.

Regardless I will bookmark it just for the hell of it.

I usually check Dillon, Bike Bandit and Partzilla and, historically, I've found that for my 2002 ST1100 OEM parts were about half the cost of CAN sourced OEM parts and then you have to factor in exchange. Your example is atypical I think, so yes, check them out next time you need parts + you have the convinience of ordering them from your desktop.
