Canadian Online Stores

I've been going more and more to bluestreak for my stuff. Just got some more parts and I couldn't beat the price. When I did the exchange and shipping they were way cheaper.

Ya BS has good pricing on a few things for sure. I've just gotten enough bad customer service from Tony that I won't send my money that way any more when I have gotten nothing but great customer service from Canada's Motorcycle and GP Bikes. Shame, I've definitely spent enough money at BS, but I'm sure CM and GPB can use my business as well.

I know I should, but most, if not all, of these parts are racing parts. A sport which I am just getting into, I don't want to be seen as the whiney guy that is calling out other racers sponsors. I'll leave it at that.

Gentleman and a scholar

Rider's Choice is also pretty good for racer-stuff. If you're not a racer, or don't look like the stereotypical motorcyclist, then they'll look down their nose at you :p

Not trying to force you to answer, but service doesn't get better if no one knows it's bad. Biggest pet peeve about motorcycling and retail(products mostly, but places too) is a lack of reviews.
Technically, if you're just starting out, your call-outs are as a consumer. Maybe by mid-season you can give pro reviews :p.

I never said I'll ever be a "pro", just wanna go and have some fun. Tbh, I enjoy working on bikes just as much as I do riding them, and it gives me something to do in the winter.

My experience could be totally different from 20 other people. So I will reserve judgement until until I actually talk in person to others that have used the same suppliers. Some of the stuff is still on order from early Feb.... Granted, the manufacturers may be partly to blame for slow service, but as a supplier, you would think it would be common courtesy to communicate that to your customers.

Another +1 for Bluestreek.
Called this morning to ask for a price on some frame sliders.
Brian took my info and called me back within 10min with 2 options and the prices.
Both prices given were more than $50 cheaper than everything else I saw online.

I've ordered a bunch from Bluestreak, but I must say I find Tony a curmudgeon and difficult to deal with in any manner other than in person. His customer service ranges from business like, professional and polite, to testy, and seemingly as though he could not care less about your order of hundreds and hundreds. My last experience with Tony was so negative, I gave up on BSR and trying to support a local business and purchased my $500+ order elsewhere. I'm sure he's very nice and professional in person, but his online customer service is pretty hit or miss.

I've also spent a bunch at GP Bikes and Canada Motorcycle as well. Not a negative thing to say about either when it comes to my online shopping experiences with them so far.
Used to order all my stuff from Tony but in the last couple years he's gotten flakey. My friends wouldn't get the correct items in their order or someone else's order entirely. I gave up the last time when I got sent the wrong items 3 times and had to send them all back. It's become a running joke now.

Actually, that sounds very similar to my situation. Emailed to confirm the parts I was ordering were compatible with my particular bike. Slightly dismissively stated "yes they are all the same" and nothing more. Ordered the parts. When the arrived they were not compatible. Had to send parts back. Weeks later I received the correct parts, except now, some parts were missing. Then he sent replacements for the missing parts, and guess what? They the replacements for the missing parts were incorrect. All in it was over 3 months and I still did not get ALL the correct parts.

Exactly the same problem I had.

Online I swear by: https://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/ (if Canadian is all you want)
If you're so inclined and want to visit stores in person:

1. Riders Choice (Mississauga)
2. GP Bikes (Whitby)
3. Royal Distributing (Whitby)

Never gone wrong with any of the above.

Does anyone have any experience buying from newegg.ca? I noticed they have a pretty decent deal on Motorcycle batterys with some promocode, and Free shipping. Anyone?

Forgot about them - over the years, people have bought from them and posted good things on this board (probably archived now); I believe I've bought a few things over time and it worked out okay (don't think I ever had anything terrible happen).

Other stores I've used (but not as extensively as my other picks listed in a post above) are https://www.motomummy.com/ and motorcycle-superstore.com

I just noticed the sell some decent things at decent prices, including adjustable levers and other accessories.

Good to know. Thanks for your feedback Dr.Sarcasm

It looks like they get their batteries from Kapsco. Good deal on shipping, though.
