Canada's Motorcyle and Pete's Superbike

Wow - Pete's Superbikes with the Super-service! I put the order in on Friday & got a confirmation later that afternoon. The shipment notice was sent on Monday afternoon - I just checked the tracking info & FedEx says that the parcel is out for delivery in Barrie already. I did not expect that fast of a turnaround! As long as the right tires are in the parcel, I am impressed! Definitely worth saving $60 to $100 (plus fuel for pickup)

I might splurge the savings on the St. Onge installation & keep my hands clean - we'll see... ;-)

Hey man. Don't go to St. Onge there is a 2 week wait for appointments. I found a really good guy with a shop over in the industrial area (huronia) and he actually lives down the road from me. He picked up the bike and even gave me the safety after just a quick look so I can get the plates right in the morning. (except if it doesn't passes he won't give it back until it does, which is understandable since his name is on the safety). He was awesome, I'm going to put up a review when I get the bike back tonight.

Duffield Powersports - 705-321-2013 - He's doing the tires for $80, safety $70. (St. Onge is minimum $100 for install, maybe more if something comes up as they charge hourly for it not flat rate) http://duffieldpowersports.com/

Do you have a princess auto nearby? What bike are you riding? If it's a 250r, they have the smaller one you need for $29.99 (10-80ft/lbs). Make sure you get one that goes low enough for your weakest bolt. I needed 14.5ft/lbs for my Ninja 250r so the 20-150ft/lbs was no good.

Ride is a 03 r6. No princess auto nearby but I can ride to the one in new market. Thanks

Based on your suggestion, I gave these guys a try and found them to be super-freindly and very informative. They certainly seem to keep themselves busy - which I will take as a good sign: they are busy & still did my tires with one business day notice. I had them take a look at a couple of other thngs so I can't comment on the "tire change only" price.

In the interest of letting this hijack go, I put in a quick review - anyone else who have used Duffield Powersport: please add to that thread.
