That's correct; they are not. Seems a pity though, as they list them as being capable of something like 120 Kmh for extended periods.

Pity, indeed. I almost bought one instead of the ZX-6R and never thought to check if it was allowed on the highway. From what I have seen, they take off like a jet.

Electric motors give you instant torque. I saw a Zero at Gerrard and Yonge, a few months back. It was eerie how it took off, while making a quiet turbo whine sound.
