Thats why engineers are good in all sorts of roles, not just engineering.
The trick with them is to find one with more social interaction skills than a potted plant and also isn't an arrogant douchehammer.
As the boss I have to turn them away from those bad traits. You can tell from the first minute you meet them if you can shape them the way you want.
Destroy their ego and make them cry on their first day. Nice!
Actually some were pretty good I must admit. I can generally hold a conversation with them & there are things in life they know that I don't.
There's a few I took on rides & they were a natural
My University was known for engineering and everytime I entered that building, it was like a different world in there. People who seemed to have their wardrobe bought by their mom & have no emotions. But I'm sure they can solve an equation before you can blink

One guy in my class showed up EVERY DAY in a sweatsuit (the work-in-your-garage-and-never-wear-outside kind) and sandals with socks.
Seen some interesting examples at Waterloo as well. Laurentian engineers were more down to Earth, but then again, mostly civvies and miners.

They do have a decent engineering program and if you look at the people attending the classes you'd think it's a dungeon
Had a guy like that at Ryerson also...he dropped out from Aero mid way to start his own IT company. Don't know what happened after that, but he was a brilliant guy from what I remember.
the catch is I have 0 patience for BS, lies, laziness, , or any other excuse that stops you doing your job.

1. take her on the weekend
2. take her before 8am or after 5pm or during your lunch period
3. he will send a cab to take her and bring her back (cheaper for him and a tax write off). Hope you ain't lying
4. use your vacation time
5. he takes you to the basement and yells at you until you cry

This is a very accurate assessment.
My observations as to these prevailing attitudes is most of these guys have never been in a fight or confrontation for try to belittle another guy. They keep getting away on picking on "dumber" ppl or talking down to ppl. One good slap or someone bracing them up against the wall and looking dead in the eyes whilst telling them to go ahead and say it again:lmao:
