IIRC, Marine Drive in that area had so many twisties I could hardley wait to get off it, but that was at the end of a long day. But the Cabot Trail itself is breathtaking.

+1 on doing the Cabot Trail counter-clock wise. Also, check out Meat Cove if you feel adventurous :)

riding through NB wasn't too bad. My least favourite was going through Montreal at rush hour, so plan accordingly.
