Bye bye JT….

Smoke doesn't always mean fire.
Not the point, the point was these photos were real and not photoshopped as had been suggested.

Something that I just realized; by proroguing parliament, he also killed the bill that guaranteed pensions for 2 term MPs (by pushing back the election date).

Sort of. There are two paths to a bill that died being reincarnated where it left off. One requires unanimous consent. That is a non-starter. The other requires debate and a vote. I have zero trust in Singh. Although his pension is now secure (f that stinking turd), many of his members benefit from that bill.

They're back benchers. Why would the Prince of Harrington Lake care if they got their pensions? It's not like any of them were in his wedding party. Those ones are all ministers of something or other.

I’m also very disappointed in Jagmeet Singh. He has had many opportunities to put a stop to this train wreck but sadly didn’t for whatever reason. He has absolutely no credibility. He and the Liberals are obviously looking out for their own interests and don’t give a f____ about what’s best for Canada.

That's what I said to my friend that brought up that lawsuit yesterday that might prevent the Libs from proroguing. I want many of these bills to DIE, preferably a painful death (painful for the people that introduced them). Like the bill that could force Canadians to be vegan, the cancerous Bill-C63 which was re-introduced in two parts, et al. There was no guarantee that they'd become law, but I prefer they die and disappear forever.

Remember when the late Mel Lastman got into trouble for a photo of him shaking hands with outlaw bikers? Do you assume he's a 1%er too?

Comparing a very public pic of someone who was known to be a bombastic showman who would shake hands with literally anyone he could to a covert pic of someone who moves in the shadows and works behind the scenes for the most part? You really do like to grasp.

My point is a picture is just that. Unless you were there when it was taken you can't honestly say what was going on.

My point is your point is tenuous, at best. Using a pic of Mel glad handing in public to try and prove your point is both an apples/oranges scenario and blatantly hypocritical.

Christy Clark says she's out. I don't know why someone with a legitimate chance in the future would want anything to do with the drubbing they are about to take.

I have 2 memberships in the LIEberal party that I can vote on the new leader with. One is in my old dog's name, and one in the new dog's name. I will be putting all their support behind that indian choad that can't speak either official language, and supports hamas. Chuck Barris would be proud.

Champagne is out. I think the only two possible candidates that may have a chance at captaining the sinking ship are Freeland and Carney. We'll see what they say. With luck they both bow out and FMJ's dogs give Chowdra the win.

Carney could carry the day , anybody that saw his debut on the Daily Show would like him. Freeland had a noose dropped around her neck by JT , I don’t think she has a shot .

She doesn't have a shot against Carney. If Carney doesn't run, she has a shot against the clown candidates.

More liberal lip service

in 2020 I was talking with a friend about never voting liberal.

The hypothetical scenario I came up with was if the liberals got more fiscally savy with someone like Carney (I liked him from Harper days before knowing he was a liberal) and if the Conservatives went farther right with someone like Pierre (I've disliked his demeanor since Rona Ambrose days)

5 years later and its the exact scenario. Not sure that I can do it though. Poilievre seems to have gotten more easy to stomach and less millhousy and Carney has a bit of Trudeau stank on him.
