Buying new ride!!

So its that time again for me to get on two wheels. I rode last year and I didn't plan to this year after I sold my R6. But I can't imagine not riding in the spring/summer.

There are two bikes I am considering:

2012 or the updated 2013 Honda CBR600RR 600
&
2012 GSX-R 600

What are rider educated opinions on the 2012 CBR and GSXR!? (Might consider getting a 1000cc)

Thanks GTAM!!

If you're thinking about Suzuki and a 1000, but sticking with 600's....why don't you go for GSX R750, Get the best of two worlds.

Honestly I woke up in the middle of the night and asked myself that same question!! I will be going to the dealer today to inquire about the 750. I just finished doing all the research I can on the machine so lets see if they got anymore 2012 in stock.

Not a fan of Kawa... just like their body work and green color lol. Their engine noise annoys me so I crossed it off my list.

I personally like the CBR more, but it's mostly because I like the design of the CBR when compared to the GSXR.

Btw, make sure you check with Burlington Cycle when buying a bike. Rick Start gave me the best prices on the bikes when I was looking last year. His prices were FAR better than any other dealer I visited (and I visited MANY).

If you are looking at a 600 but think you might want a 1000 then the GSXR750 is your bike.

Not sure why you hate Kawi exhaust sounds because pretty much all inline-4 sport bikes sound the same, with the exception of the new R1's delicious crossplane crank sound.

Get the 750' I know Brampton powersports has 2 left with a wicked price. I picked my 2012 up on Wednesday...might wear the tires in a little on Saturday, lets see what the weather has in stock for me

750 is ur bike...unless you want a smile from ear to ear every time you hit the gas and dont care about ur license, in this case go with a 1000cc :)
