Buying a bike situation... :(

I've had 4 bikes and about 25 cars over the years. When buying used I've found it about 50% that the owners manual is still with the vehicle, and 50%
getting both keys (and remotes if available).
Usually you can download the owners manual from the manufacturer's website. Yamaha has an excellent archive of owners manuals going back 15 years

Suzuki on the other hand will sell you a manual, but only if you live within the USofA, they will NOT mail it to Canada.

Here's the link to the '09 Ninja 650R owners manual. Enjoy :)
(I believe the download is only the table of contents...)

As soon as you get the bike home, take out the sparkplugs and shine a flashlight into the cylinders just in case a GPS is hidden in there.
I can't think of anywhere you would hide one on a bike.

And why?????

i'll take more pics as the weather gets better...ill be the guy in the parking lot for the next week or two getting used to the bike so if you see some guy driving up and down a parking lot in a blue 650r...chances are its me :)

Go check out ninja650shop they have alot of good stuff for our bikes. I see it already has a few upgrades...rear seat cowl and fender eliminator. Check out the sport bars. It makes a big difference in the handeling of the bike. Unless you like the raised standard bars for comfort.

Lol thanks, any suggestion on places for parts/installation for aftermarket parts? Im in the york region :O

Congrats on the bike, When you viewed mine (mileage aside) you said it was "too modded" and low and behold you now want to start dumping more money into your 650R.

Ah to be young again....

Ride safe & have fun !!
