Bucket List?

Always wanted to see The Rolling Stones in a small venue.

Saw them at Rich Stadium in 75 when they were still kinda young. Preferred the opening act more (Donovan). The middle act was hilarious (Benny Koske The Human Bomb).

I need to see a space launch in my lifetime.
You?
I watched the Challenger land at Edwards twice - awesome sight. I had a friend who worked at Nasa's JPL in Pasadena, got to see a few launces from the rocket control center, sadly one of those was in 1986.

I made a bucket list when I was 20, finished things up by 40, now I do what I want when I feel like it. Can't think of much I still need to do, I prefer doing all the things I like on a daily basis rather than more epic stuff.

I did have one thought on something I'd really love to do -- Read Putin's Eulogy.

Also saw them there in ‘81. George Thorougood and Living Colour opened for them . Steve Jordan was Living Colour’s drummer back then. He’s the guy that’s replaced Charlie Watt’s so he goes way back with the Stones. Great drummer.

This thread hits close to home. After two and a half years of health problems I've just recently been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. They say it's pretty aggressively attacking my brain.
I'm planning to head west soon and spend my summer riding in Bc.
The real bucket list? I'm hoping I can still ride next year.

I read Pierre Burtons book “Klondike “ when I was a kid and always dreamed of going to Dawson City and the Yukon. When I was I my early twenties I bought a tent and camping gear and headed there in my pickup truck with two buddies. We spent almost two months there. When I got home I gave my camping gear away and never went again. It was the first thing on my bucket list that I had actually achieved. That was 36 years ago and I’ve never gone camping again. Now all my bucket list destinations usually include a nice hotel

I saw the Stones
Was the stage shaped like a star? MLG? Circa '72?
I was there too.
Mick came to one of the star's point, inches away from us. We all passed him a doob. He didn't take any of the offerings.

Thanks CC, and I definitely plan to put the tracer to good use this year.
I turned 49 in January. Everyone should always live to the fullest, your plans don't always come to fruition later.

I’m very sorry to hear that…I hope that the trip this year will be an awesome adventure and I look forward to seeing pics and ride reports!

As for me…my list is simple. I want to ride to BC, just to say I’ve done it and spend some time riding the mountains.

Would love to ride the west coast from Mexico to BC and back.

Tail of the Dragon

Hope to see my children grow up to at least 18-20 which would put me at 60 once #3 is born.

Got a call from Australia about 2 hours ago that my distant cousin that I met only once, but am very close with his brother, is dying. 2-3 weeks left due to stage 4 cancer. 51 years old. F$#k cancer.

Life is short and we dont know what time we have left. Enjoy it.

Sorry to hear. Not being medically knowledgeable I wondered if the term was a sarcastic variation on my condition idontgiveadamnaphobia but upon a few clicks found it is serious.

Like so many medical conditions the path is vague, hard on the individual, hard on family and friends.

I was never a bucket list guy before, I would do stuff and others would say , holy crap that's cool. And alternately say holy crap why bother? But thats the fun part, its you list.
Stuff we want to do now, like everything in life, takes planning and sadly more money. But the planning is almost as much fun as the execution , and often goes so much smoother than the actual project LOL

Tour de france, ride or drive to each stage either by motorcycle or rent a caravan if the wife is coming.

Iron Maiden live, so many times they have come to T.O and I've always had other commitments.

F1 europe tour, go see the old banking at Monza, Jim Clark and Gilles Villeneuve crash sites.

Follow the Nascar season for a year- this is a lottery bucket list.

I had friends following the Nascar circuit for two years , class A motorcoach , travel to each event.
For those that dont know about this , folks dont actually go to the grandstands, they get parking passes , meet up with other fans and watch on big TVs in the parking lot, cooking and beers and hanging out with friends. Thousands doing this and they don't watch the actual race.

Sorry to hear this. If I had a known horizon I'd be living every day to the fullest. Every once and a while I watch a movie called One Week, thinking if I could see the horizon on what has so far been an excellent life -- I'd do a long solo ride re-visiting every place and everyone in North America that I had a great time at/with.

Head out, have fun!
