did you see the guys teammate btw, took one look at him after he inbounded a pass, and just fell to his knees in disgust lol
 
This sort of stuff happens in lots of other sports and it's hardly talked about. A few sports have guys that compete regularily with broken or hardly healed injuries and it only gets a passing notice.
Not sure why it's such a big deal, other than the fact that it was well documented visually and closer to the fans view than it would be in any other sport.
