Brampton to blame

I am not saying it's right but given the state of insurance rates at least this person has insurance coverage.
Until the courts are jammed with people not having insurance then nothing will change.

Well...I guess now that they have raised everyone's rates in Brampton it's time to spread out and raise everyone's rates NEAR Brampton...Really??? Sounds like your broker doesn't really have a legitimate answer for you.
They have a legitimate answer, they're just not saying it outright.... OP, your rates went up because your broker or insurance company is trying to offset the increased cost of their business from the year previous (i.e. higher than expected number of claims paid out).

I wouldn't call that answer legitimate, nor justified. They've just taken that wolf and put it under some very obvious sheep's clothing.

Sounds like alot of insurance fraud in Brampton?

Interesting. Taxi insurance went up big time in my town and most of those owner/operators look like Brampton people. Hmmm....

If houses in Brampton burn down at twice the national average, would you want to insure houses in Brampton for the same premium as everywhere else?

Well, car accidents happen at a higher than average rate in Brampton. See the analogy. And the other thing is when car accidents happen in Brampton the claims payment are higher than everywhere else. It seems that despite minor fender benders people from Brampton become catastrophically injured at a much higher frequency than other parts of the province.

For example, Fred from Barrie gets rear ended. He gets a crow bar and pulls his bumper straight. Claims cost is $100.

Billy in Brampton gets rear ended, insists his car is a total loss and also allegedly goes to 500 physio visits and his claims cost is $200 000.

See the difference.

 Nicely done!

Bilderjeet in Brampton gets rear ended, insists his car is a total loss and also allegedly goes to 500 physio visits and his claims cost is $200 000.

See the difference.

Now it is more realistic. Flame away I don't give a **** at least I am being honest and straight up about it and yes I have been a victim of this **** have gone to court and the case was thrown out. It was proven to be fraud but I am innocent and my insurance record is still messed up.

This fraud is true. I got into a fender bender right off the 410 late at night because there was ice on the off ramp. I went with a car rental company that the tow truck driver recommended and they tried to convince me to fake serious whiplash. FVCK that, I called my friend to pick me up and went without a car for a while.

Look like "brampton people"? lol interesting what do they look like?

U stole the words from my mouth, lol

I will rent anyone a very small space in my house for $100 a year, you can store your bike here as long as I never see it. Mail can be picked up once every other month

I live in Brampton and pay less then 90% of people in here I'd say. $72/month for full coverage on a 600 ss.

Same here, $85ish /month on a 750 SS

I'm guessing both of you have cars / something else insured with SF as well.

I pay around $12X with SF, bike only & $150 Car only with another co.

SF said if I grouped them both... $60 bike only, and $285 for car.. Therefore it doesn't benefit me at all.

Oh that's easy. Spend enough time in Brampton you'll pick up on the subtle clues. It's like going to Ireland where the people are green.
