Rider down on a green Kawi just west of McLaughlin on bovaird. From speaking to witnesses, it appears the rider may not have made it

what i heard on the scanner was that he was alive on the way to the hospital.

i saw the scene shortly after it happened... what a disaster... i hope he pulls through.

I hope he pulls through.
I'm told by some residents that there is a green kawi frequents bovaird and rides recklessly. I hope this was not the case.

Was this on Bovaird and Edenbrook, where LA Fitness is at? If so, they shut the road down. I saw a big crowd a few fire trucks, but I wasn't curious enough to see what happened. Looked like a big accident though. If this is the case. GWS Rider!

Yup, that's exactly where it was. At least the guy he was riding with was decent enought to stop

I was waiting to make my left turn onto Bovaird and I saw the green Kawi pull off the line at McLaughlin WB on Bovaird and was thinking his ride looked really good. He seemed to be riding safely, at least off the line and for the next few hundred metres that I could see. I'm still in shock from seeing his ride mangled on the road, and seeing the rider equally mangled lying on the sidewalk. I had my little kids with me otherwise I'd have stopped, but it seemed he had plenty of help - and the emergency response speed was fairly quick. The cops were onsite in less than 7 minutes - not sure about the ambulance. Nothing like this accident to bring the fragility of life front and centre. In any case, I do hope he pulls through. God Speed. Safe riding to you all.

^ Car turned left in front?

It's quite apparent from how the pavement looks today, that the collision happened WB Bovaird right at the intersection in the 2nd lane from right.

GWS, rider.

Ugh. I hope the rider is ok.

And it doesn't matter how perfectly a rider rides here, or how well they obey traffic laws, the drivers in Brampton must be the worst on the planet.
