Bodyshops for Motorcycle?

You seem like a good guy, sucks it happened.

Check out Cawthra automotive, they should be able to match the paint for you if you want to give DIY a go. Id pull the dent, sand it down a bit and paint over. If youre decent with a spray can and with some wet sanding and polishing after the paint it shouldn't really be noticeable unless you know.
Thank you for the recommendation. I'll check them out.

Ichiban Moto ! (y) my performance sticker sponsor.

Personally my plan of action would to buy a new tank (tough pill to swallow but that’s always visible) replace it myself. Leave the fairing alone. I’d see if color rite makes a touch up paint the same color as the cover and paint that although I’d maybe wait until the off season and pull it to paint the whole thing.

Don’t try and pull the dent and/or do a diy paint repair on any of the body yourself. It’s likely going to look worse. I see way too much crap paint work to recommend anything other then a pro for that kind of stuff. Your bike is too nice for that treatment.

IMO... Just leave it for now. Who knows, you might forget to put the kickstand down again. Fix it right before you sell it.. if at all.

Honda canada shows a fuel tank for the 2018 at $453. Hopefully the 2019 is close to that.

I'm not going to DIY. I rather let pro's do it.

I might put off for winter though since I'm too busy riding it. And the motorcycle probably needs valve adjustment by then so I can get everything done together.

$500 for a tank is very reasonable. I was expecting close to $1k.

My lovely 7 year old nephew gave me a sticker to cover the dent. :) I'm all set!

As a former autobody guy (years ago) , I'd buy a new tank. Thats an ugly dent to fix, the tank has two color stripes, red main color and clear coat. I'm guessing no shop is fixing that tank for under $500.

At that price I would absolutely replace the tank and do it now, they mark up the price of things like that, the longer they sit on the warehouse shelf. imho The reason to replace it would be if you are keeping the bike for a long time, not if you are going to sell it soon anyway.

... steel fuel tanks that have been bent and repaired will eventually rust from the inside, they will rust very badly anywhere the metal has been stressed by bending and at the seams.
