BMW S1000RR vs. CBR1000 Repsol

Serious skills/balls AND lack of brains. Yes I have hit those speeds when I was young and not truly aware of the risks/consequences. I'd never do it again, just watching them had me holding my breath, kept waiting for debris on the shoulder. I wouldn't wish bad on anyone, but karma is a *****. At those speeds, a mistake equals instant karma.

Time and a place. The shoulder of a highway doing 300 is neither. Skilled yes. Retarded yes. That's a bad combo on a bike

I'd very much rather to discuss the shameful attempt of Wheels.ca and Alana Miski, the writer, to apply an ultra wide brush in justification for the law, by posting a bunch of pretty reckless riders from outside of Canada.

"Well" done Alana .... I'd suspect that someone close to her has been a victim of an accident where motorcycle rider was to blame for the incident and this is her opportunity to "vent" the concern so to speak.

The writers have a lot of power in their keyboard, but that comes with a responsibility as well, which Alana Miski to me didn't show in her particular short piece. Shame on Wheels.ca letting this to be published.

Gotta give them credit when it's due; they are decent riders. Like it was mentioned earlier, I'd still feel safer with those riders going down the street then some of the senior citizens or brain dead morons that just have no motor vehicle skills behind the wheel. Those guys are at least paying attention and riding for their lives, instead of the highschooler with moms minivan texting and swerving into the oncoming lane.

All I got from this video is that I should buy a BMW for my next bike. Cool video.

Only problem with that is if one of these guys messes up and hits you at 300km/h there will be nothing left of you or them. The senior citizen putting around at below the speed atleast you have more time to avoid them and if they do hit you it will be a lot less serious.

I wheeliez yo on mys suprcharged R1 thru shoppin' mallz alls da time yo, runnin over kidz and dogz and familez yo . bitchez be like craazzzy yo.

hollaa.

I just pee'd my pants :lmao: "Mighty Infernobuster" has a nice ring to it.

Thank god that tool is gone.

Sweet vid, when did Marquez and Rossi start riding on the streets?

HOLLER!

I wouldn't even bother to attempt more than half their speeds and that's on a track.

Side note, but the douche bag is back.

On topic- I don't condole it, I probably would never do it. But as stated above these guys are skilled. As well mentioned above, just one peice of something on the road and .... Well sure it wouldn't be pretty.
That BMW is unreal!

All the supersport riders on here have done some variance of this. Ever wonder while you're doing it, what it feels like to be in one of the cars?!

Sure some have flown down a highway but personally I'd never ever do it if it required passing on the shoulder. One piece of anything and you're the new topping on a pizza. No thanks

somebody is narcissistic

Wow. What a video. I'm reminded of Jimbo Jones "videotaping this crime spree is the best idea ever".

Regardless of the argument of "right or wrong", they have skills and balls - good vdeo
I fail to see any "skills" involved with simply holding a throttle wide open on an almost straight piece of multi-lane highway with little traffic. "Balls" I can agree with, but only because they spent so much time running the shoulder; never know what kind of crap you'll run over there.
