Black Friday vs. Motorcycle Supershow

I'm in the market for a new leather riding jacket. There are a few I've had my eye on but was waiting for sales or discounts before pulling the trigger. It's Black Friday and now the stuff I want is 15% off. My question is this: should I go ahead and click the "buy" button or am I likely to see bigger savings at the motorcycle show in January? Or am I better off waiting until the spring?

FWIW, I'm looking at the Revit Travon or Revit Rino jacket.

I decided to wait until Black Friday to purchase something and it's gone up in price by $50.

Ugh. Sleazy retailer. That's awful. I've been keeping an eye on what I want for a few months and at least they Black Friday discount is real, small as it may be

Did you pull the trigger?

Probably not, they're in the Netherlands, deal in euros and don't really do black friday. The Canadian dollar has probably tanked lately. It came back down around half. I haven't seen a Schuberth C5 advertised for any where near $650 around here yet.

Rev'It (or however it's spelled) is exempt from most generic "tax free" or other blanket discounts, so 15% off something that isn't discontinued might not be too bad. Best you can hope for is a price adjustment by boxing day if they offer it lower then.

I thought that GP has a sale on revit now?

I'm certain Rev'It! dealers must stick to MAP pricing. If one store is on sale, they all are. If one dealer is running a BOGO, they all are. 15% off Rev'It! is about the best you're going to get.

Rev’It never goes on sale for more than 15%.
