Did you try to leave a note on his bike?
No pen / paper everytime I see his / her bike
Did you try to leave a note on his bike?
This is way more informative than my one-liner..
No pen / paper everytime I see his / her bike
Mine's the orange RR. The CBR250 was deemed too close to the fire hydrant I guess. The burgundy bike parked to my right, you sir were too close to me.
On Melissa Street, just south of King and West of Yonge there is a sort of meridian between the sidewalk and the street. It is of course packed with scooters and the occassional bike. Bikes seem to get tickets and scooters not. Talked to the PKE dude and he said vehicles under 250ccs were exempt. Not sure how accurate this is, just passing it along. Oh, the ticket is a $50 donation if you get nicked.
The RED bike (probably all of them) should of got a ticket. You must park at no more then 60 degrees from the curb.
You really do have to hand it to the meter maid on this one... at least they thought ahead about what would happen to the ticket.chiller;1815593 [IMG said:http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss53/gtachiller1/fb0d76e4.jpg[/IMG]
The interesting point there is that the painted lines don't match the signage.
my understanding is that the signs on the poles trump all ...
example, if the weather in winter turns bad and there is snow everywhere, no one would even see the lines, the pole would be seen with the sign... regardless that we are riding bikes, this parking sign applies to vehicles in general...
if your vehicle is longer and fits in the space but not between the poles, I believe that as long as your vehicle does not hang over a driveway to impede access then as long as your vehicles WHEELS / TIRES are within the imaginery lines of the sign poles then you are safe. Hence why the Gixxer in the pic did not get a ticket, his wheels were behind the no parking sign even tho his tank and fairing were a smidge over...
Yes, painted lines are generally meaningless without a sign to define them. It's still pretty misleading though, as if they want people to get nailed for it.
