Illegal, whether you get a ticket or not is something else.

But I have seen bikes parking on the sidewalks sometimes!!!How does that work, then?

Mine's the orange RR. The CBR250 was deemed too close to the fire hydrant I guess. The burgundy bike parked to my right, you sir were too close to me.

I sometimes ride down and that guy on the sv650 parks too close to me as well. Then he locks his helmet to his seat so it's now 2 inches from my fairing. I was lucky that time that my coworker was with me. I had him hold the other guys bike upright while I got out. dooche bag does this regularly, I've seen it

This is what happens if the "ticket blows away"

The owner of the vehicle will get a notice of impending conviction, you have the option of either paying for it or request a trial. If you fail to respond to that, then you will get notice of conviction and if you fail to pay for that then it will go on to the MTO for plate denial. If you fail to pay it when you get the notice of impending conviction, additional charges are added on.

This is way more informative than my one-liner.. :)

Good info! I always wondered about the ticket flying away.

Hm...so that means if you miss the 14 day period to file a trial/etc., you can just wait for the notice in the mail? The perks of a motorcycle :D

The RED bike (probably all of them) should of got a ticket. You must park at no more then 60 degrees from the curb.

Did you try to leave a note on his bike?

I'm actually surprised that it didn't, given that it's leaning past the sign. I've seen them hand out tickets for exactly that, in the past.
