Biker Pet Peeves

Bro, nobody wants to drive a tractor

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]People who believe that purchasing a bike mysteriously increases their ability to drive by twenty points.

Nothing can ever be their fault again. Run red lights and stop signs, weave through traffic, drive too fast for conditions. When they do crash, even if it's solo, it's all because of someone or something else, never them.

All they've done, is increased their chance of becoming road-kill.

And last but not least, if your sissy strips (and I'm not comparing to anyone elses) are wider than YOUR contact patch, you just MIGHT be a D bag.
My sissy strips are wider than my contact patch on my street bike, what is your point?

What? You callin' the shots now?! You're kinda newish around here, no? Normally I wouldn't be this condescending and belittling but holy cow look at the bike model year you're riding.

His point is: you're a douche bag, man!

Same goes for your track bike too, no need to hide that from everyone! :lmao:

I don't have a track bike, still don't see his point.

People are ****** bags because they don't go on ramps at a slow to medium speed?

... :)

ZX600, I fully knew & admit that was the riskiest of the jokes. I did capitalize the word "might" on that one. There is absolutely nothing Dbaggy about responsibilty, moderation, and obeying the law - quite the opposite actually!

Inreb, yes my post count is pretty low, and five years isn't all that much time either. I did, however, ride carbed 90's bikes for four years before I was able to muster and scrounge my way to the bike of my dreams, which is home built btw (VIN begins in H0M0 [accepting all jokes]). Riding has become a major part of my life over these few years and a true passion, like many of us here. I believe I've learned, sweated, crashed, and bled my share to deserve a great machine. Doesn't a die-hard hockey player, even if he plays only for personal satisfaction, deserve a good pair of skates?

And what's wrong with a little bit of leadership? ;)
The thread went to tractors and wrestlers in Japan.
