biker girl arrested on CTV

nothing wrong with being serious and having a nice bum, always gotta toss in the compliments here or there...she's just getting her panties in a bunch over what some tools say online...meh...move along, nothing to see...

I had also posted a blurb on Introduction of new riders. My trial is next week, there are so many loop holes and we as riders have rights. I have been riding 12 years and learned so much from my case that I thought others could learn and benefit from. Unfortunately the stupid prejudice and sexist comments just shut me down. That is not what I signed on for. Thanks for the support from others and RIDE SAFE!
Marley is no longer signing on to this site!

awww. me sad :(
i was looking forward to those loopholes. u never know when we might need them.
shame on you GTAM!

Good Luck with the case Marley. i hope something good comes out of this for you.

not thank you for the nice bum but thank you for the support and welcomes! lol

Rock what ya got girly! They are jealous the view will fade as you pass them and take off.

Otherwise welcome! And dont let the leg humpers get ya!

Well i for one would welcome you and hope you stick around.
not all of us are *** holes.
im sure you'll learn a lot through this trial with all the loop holes.
hope your lawyers are doing what they can.

I have no idea what you're talking about... but welcome.

Perhaps less rage in your introduction next time you join a forum?

Umm... welcome to the Internet?

So what you're saying is that: because people are anonymous, they can post any old sexist BS that they want? That's pretty cowardly, IMO. That because it's on the Internet that it's somehow justified? I didn't know the Internet inherently belonged to men. IDK, dude, how would you like it if someone made comments like that about your sister, your mother, your daughter, your wife/significant other?

99% of men don't get it. And that sort of crap is exactly why the vast majority of bike forums are sausage-fests.

/discussion.

What's wrong with someone complimenting your bum?

Most women try to buy pants to flatter them, do their hair so they look nice and so on, and men aren't supposed to be allowed to comment on that?

It's not like he said it in a rude way...

And it's not like she's standing in a serious business meeting about to give a presentation that could save millions of lives while he said it, she's posting on an internet forum. This passion tends to skew male, are men not allowed to act like men now because some women are coming out to play?

To be clear, I'm a woman before you start calling me out for not understanding women.

It's the way that compliment discounted what the poster was trying to say. Regardless of whether or not I agree with Marley's actions, I can see how she would get ****** off when she's trying to discuss something and some male forum members can't think beyond their dick for just once.

There are skeezy women on bike forums that intentionally flaunt that they're women in order to get that kind of attention. But in this case, that female member was not trying to solicit that brand of attention. She just wanted to talk about her experience getting arrested, her upcoming court date, and some things she had learned about the legal system along the way.

His comment didn't discredit anything she said. You're reading way too much into things.

I suppose you only leave the house in really baggy sweatshirts and jogging pants right? Wouldn't want a compliment coming your way... might totally undermine how serious being a woman is!

This was her first post from back in the day:

thanks to many for the kind words and support, haters keep hating. Got arrested after 1, made it to my 2pm meeting! he was not chasing me, I was just riding, lights never came on until he was on my ***! He had my plate for the brainiacs who are talking the most s--t! RAS PECT

Sounds to me like she was trying to come on here and discuss

You must be one of those chicks who works at Hooters.

You must be one of those chicks who works at Hooters.

Just because I don't take myself, or my gender so seriously doesn't mean I work at Hooters.

Although, that would be fun I'm sure.

I'll take the implied compliment about my boobs, it's very nice of you to suggest they are so awesome. Or should I say Hooter-rrific. Thank you :)

Maybe I should change my username to Tit-tastic while I'm at it. Since I must be one of those skeezy girls who flaunts being a chick on motorcycle forums for attention. After all, if I wasn't, I'd lamely agree with everything uptight you say, since you speak for us all.

+1.

Before I comment, I'm a woman as well. I don't get why some people are so sensitive. I've been online for many, many years, (mostly IRC and still am), and it'll always be the same. People will comment, try to get a rise, whatever. It's the internet. That's how it works. Of course, some people do take it too far but from what I've seen here, there's nothing to warrant Marley getting so upset about a butt comment. Who really cares? It's all in fun and if you can't take the remarks that come with the territory, then maybe you should re-evaluate your online use. It goes both ways.

The internet is serious business.

Believe it or not, some women like to be taken seriously. Looking at, and treating, women as sexual objects is not taking them seriously.

You're quite right. However, you can't be serious and be taken serious all the time......that would be boring. I got the impression Gman's comment was only meant to poke a little fun at the photo of Marley in cuffs, which is some pretty serious **** for some, and lighten things up a little. I didn't perceive it as a sexual anyway. But all that aside, I think a women's sexuality is a very serious matter.......I think some women would feel they weren't being taken seriously if men didn't acknowledge it.

Rock what ya got girly! They are jealous the view will fade as you pass them and take off.

See - that's the spirit.
