Bike was sputturing at 120+ km this morning..

So you guys think it not Carb icing? These symptoms did start in the last 2 days of cold weather not on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday when the weather was a bit milder.

A lean condition will be more prevalent in colder conditions. Also, if the underlying problem is a clogged fuel filter or fuel pick-up screen, it may have been coincidence.

That's what I'm thinking, so for now I'm gonna just stick to status quo and come spring if this still the case I'll look into the other suggestions.

I thought of maybe changing the mixture screw a bit to allow more fuel but, gonna pass will just ride at 135 max on colder days for now....

So guys I guess your right on the Carb icing thing, today I hit 160 and kept going with out any of the symptoms I had last week, and today was -3 rather than 0 like last week. So that concludes it was the Carb icing that my bike was going through. What a relief to know I got no issues with the bike..!

Thanks everyone for your valuable input on this! This forum rocks as usual with helpful souls....

your welcome

Depending on the hose routing for float bowl venting, I have experienced fuel starvation at speed on a few V-twins from extreme crosswinds. I can only assume the float bowls are seeing a negative pressure surge if the vents are located outside of the airbox.
I had this happen a number of times a couple weeks ago, and only at 120kmh or faster, and only in crosswinds coming from the left. Headwind and tailwind were fine at any speed.
