If both of those accidents happened in Ontario with other drivers who were also insured in Ontario than there is no way that you should have paid a deductible. They'd both be paid under DCPD. Unless (and this is so insanely rare) you applied a DCPD deductible to your own policy it shouldn't have cost you anything and you should never have had to recoup money from other drivers.
