Bike got hit in a lot...dammit!

Well it happened...I've had the bike for about a month and it got hit in the parking lot at work and tipped over opposite of the stand! Fortunately I know who hit it and they've agreed to pay for the damages. The bike is a 2008 Honda CBR125.

I'm wondering if these are things I can do on my own...or if I need to take it in to get it done (which may take who knows how long!)

Here's the damage as far as I see it:
1. Right turn signal got pushed in - needs to def be replaced. However the arm holding it to the outside of the fairing is bent in...signal still works.
2. The nut at the end of the right handle is bent and spinning freely
3. Minor scratch on muffler
4. Minor scratch on mirror
5. Brake lever got bent

I'm certain the bike is rideable and everything works fine but my main concerns are the turn signal frame, and the bolt at the end of the handlebar!

Thanks for any advice.

If I were you I'd take the bike to Honda and have them look it over and give you a proper estimate on a work-order that you can present to the person who hit your bike. That way they'll have no way of disputing. From there you are free to chose if you want to fix it yourself, or spend the money on better grips, aftermarket pipe, or remain stock. There are things you may not be seeing (i.e. the pipe might be pushed in).

For the signal, since my girl has dropped her 125 more than once, you can give it a firm grip and brace 1 hand on the fairing and pull it back out, it's just a thin metal bar it's mounted on internally.
The brake lever can also be removed placed in a vice and bent back.

I have fairings if you want/need...(mid fairings/lower)
hopefully your bike is white/black.

let me know :)

Hey, thanks for the responses guys. I'm going to take it to Ready Honda for an inspection to see what's going on. Also found out that the throttle is now sticking (cruise control!) and the gas gauge is no longer working so something may have disconnected!
And yes it's white and black! I'll let you know if anything needs to be replaced.

Very good advice.

Bad idea to straighten the lever.Unsafe.could fail suddenly.
They are cheap to buy.

Hey everyone! Well the bike is back good as new! The total damage caused with parts and labour was $900! The fuel gauge malfunction was the most expensive part as the fuel pump was damaged when the bike fell over! Guy that hit it almost flipped as he was expecting a $300 fix at max....but he's still paying for all the damage!
See you out there!
