Holy looong rant! I didn't get to read it all, you must have too much time on your hands. Just clean your bike already!ottytrain5:
+1 I use him whenever I don't have time to do it myself.
temptin', but i'm gonna go after one of them 1,300 new City of Toronto jobs that'll pay twice as much for half the effort and a quarter of the results.
another thumbs up for kevin... does incredible job
Your post makes no sense.Oh my gosh !!! You have to work for a living and you have a wife and kids and just can't find anytime to clean your motorcycle....ah ha ha ha !!!! and you're tired and grumpy.....HAHAHAHHAHAHA !!!!
What's the word again....ummmm oh yah ...
POSER ? or the word that rhymes with Poser Loooooooo (you can fill in the rest....)
...Its the same **** as any old wash and wax in a bottle, and it will leave wash-marks if you don't take it off with a chamois and touch up with a microfibre.Im sure theres a lot of coflicting opinions but heres my say. I always wash my bikes with Mr. Clean auto dry. It is worth every penny. Saves so much time. Can you dry out every nook and cranny on your bike? I cant. With auto dry you dont have to worry. It all dries with zero film. the kit also comes with a scub brush that works great on rims, frame, suspension, brakes (all the non body work stuff). After the bikes clean I use this spray on and wipe off stuff made by Lucas. Ill get you the name tomorrow. My brother convinced me to use this stuff and im not lying to you guys it is amazing. It looks like skimmed milk when you spray it on and you just wipe it off with a terry cloth. You can spray it on your winshield, your paint, your rims, your guages. ZERO residue, and it looks like you waxed your ride no BS. Its like gods tears for your bike. thats all i use. I have a shammy (spelled right?) too and a bunch of rags to clean all the greasy stuff around the chain.
I know of a place, but its not in the east end but central. All they do is bikes, the only 4 wheels they do are ATV's. The place is Crazy Chrome Motorcycle Detailing & Storage. These guys are crazy for real. They clean everything, it will look brand new. Try it out and I promise you that you'll be happy.
While we're on the subject, are the seats and other plastics usually pretty well UV protected already or should/could I apply some 303 Aerospace Protectant on them as well?
Btw, if you're looking for a good spotless rinse, Optimum No Rinse is a great product. I use it on my car all the time. An ounce or two diluted in a 32oz spray bottle of water. Just spray it on, wipe off and any left behind dries completely without residue.
That's ok.I just found it and gave a warning for a 3 yr old insult.Hah!Pro necro on a 3-year old thread.
