Was there something about yesterday that got a bunch of bikers going nuts (220+ km/h and lane splitting) and crashing ?

For that matter, here in the west GTA there were numerous car-on-car crashes too. Heard sirens all afternoon.

It was a nice day, and the same things that provoked the stupids at Woodbine Beach on Victoria Day weekend were at work.
Let's try to be more careful out there people..

Toronto motorcyclist suffers critical injuries in highway crash

Provincial police say the motorcyclist was travelling in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 when he slammed into the back of an SUV that was merging onto the roadway at Westney Road.

Weather was spectacular over the weekend, lots of bikes out. The Timmies at Dundas / 403 is a major meetup and hangout for the sport bike crowd and you can hear bikes being wound out all day long and well into the morning hours. Everyone knows this and they've being hanging out there for decades, you'd think the police would have figured this out by now.

Is that like the west end Leslie and Lakeshore? I’ve never heard about that meetup location.

But I hear bikes and cars screaming along Burnhamthorpe between Erin Mills and Mavis all night long.

That's the closest Tim's to my office - when I ride in, I make sure to park well away from the squids that gather there...
