big poppas purely hypothetical window shopping thread

Almost bought a bike, sales guy keeps "omitting the truth" (who could have seen it coming right?)
Long story short: should I wait 5-6 months for a bike that was supposedly in stock, (or one that was sold right from under their nose in the middle of the night by santa claus?)
(keep in mind these guys havent exactly been straight forward with me up until now)

@Matt Rain works at a triumph dealer right? If you got a 24 or 25 street triple rs IN STOCK, dm me.

why would you buy a Street triple? boggle

no, don't give money to people if they don't want your business.

It's just his December to May bike anyway. Then it will be time for something else.

I agree, sales games mean I walk. Ideally buy from another dealership. If that's not an option, talk to the sales manager at dealer one and explain why you want nothing to do with the salesperson that played games. If sales manager appears to have been in on the game, they are off the list even if they have the only one.

That's oddly a long time.

Thanks, but Im after the RS

Messaged some more dealers 🤷‍♂️ lets see

This is always the problem with lower priced bikes, more demand, hard to find on showrooms. Can find Pikes Peak multistradas collecting dust all day.

I think tonight I have messaged every dealer that claims to have them in stock... I believe hamilton only has them "on order"...I can give them a call to double check I suppose

What dealer? Tried to buy a buy this week from GP but they were kinda dicking me around so I called Peak and got a straight shooter. Pick up the bike there today.
