i know, the ford 4.0 is a tq'y engine but very bad on gas

it is all quick city driving but still.

my exterra was very nice and will get another one.
80 to fill and 450 per tank

I'll always stick with Ford. :p
My dad's 08 F150 just goes in regular oil changes, that's all and no problems.
The Chevy Uplander van is terrible.
Hate GM and their service, and dislike Toyotas.

Canyons are nice, but still, hate their service.

sport trac is ok if you get the v8, my 4.0l sport trac cost $120 to fill and get 400km a tank

Might want to have that looked at. Just filled up my 5.0 F150 today for $155 but I got 860kms on that tank of gas

I have an 05 Tacoma, and so far after 200+Km it is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

Looking at the results, these are pretty much as expected. Ford/Mazda is a great value to begin with, Toyota keeps its value/price for a while. Both are great reliable trucks.

Im a ford master tech, the truck is in great shape

I find both of these hard to believe.
The Sport Trac has ~ 80 litre tank, even filling it from completely empty with $1.40 premium would be less that $120.
I have the 4.0 in my Ranger, had the same driveline in my Exlporer. Both got about the same milage. Currently the Ranger will go ~ 400 kM on ~ $65 worth of (regular)fuel. (which is still expensive considering the VFR will do it for less than half the money)

That being said, my Ranger does what I ask from it. It's 3 1/2 year old, has ~ 145,000 km, gets regular fluid changes, other than that no serious service issues.
