Best places to sit on bikes around GTA/Barrie?

If he's your friend, do not let him settle for a grom! They seem like a very cool city bike, but if you live in a small town where everything around you is an 80km zone it's gonna get old fast.

That is true. Thats why I took him out to sit on all kinds of bikes. I told him for roughly the same price as a new grom you can have a slightly used 300 or maybe even a cruiser. He's always been into mini-bikes and doesn't commute at all, so I can see why he's interested in the Grom. I've been pushing the supermoto on him a bit, but it was a smokin deal so might be gone already. It's hidden away in the basement at MOP.

And they have the best prices so far.(Suzuki of Newmarket)

Yep, a few of their ads have caught my eye. I recall a few members on this board saying that they hated the place, though they didn't really say why. Whenever I am finally ready to upgrade, I will probably pay them a visit.

I hated that place too. got my bike there last year, will never be back. Bought the bike @ the show and was told I could pick it up later that week, it wasn't until months later they actually had it. They are the complete opposite of organized, I was getting calls that the bike was ready for pickup, only to show up and have them tell me it hadn't even arrived.

I bought my first bike from SoN. Fortunately I made it conditional on getting my M2. While I was waiting, they dropped the price on that bike. I called them up and they basically said tough ******, a contract is a contract. I walked in without an appointment, told them I didn't have my M2, and they had 2 choices. I exercise my out clause and we start from scratch on a new contract based on the new sale price, or they amend the price on my current contract and I spend that hour browsing their boutique shop. They amended the contract, but not without a few snide comments. A couple weeks after I took possession, I found a bolt sitting under the bike. Turns out they didn't bother to tighten 3 of the 6 bolts connecting the centre stand they installed. I've never been back.
