Best fuel to use!!!

Hello Everyone.
Just picked up a 1998 Honda CBR600F3. This is my first bike.
What is the best fuel to use?.
The previous owner said not to use regular 87, so i have been using the mid-grade i think its 89. i have always used the 91 in my car but not sure what would be the best for the bike.

The manual should tell you whats recommended. All of my bikes have recommended high octane, so 91 or above.
 
Liquid Oxygen.

probably an ethanol based fuel.

Exactly what the manual tells you to will give the best performance and longevity and raise the octane only if the engine is knocking, regardless of others peoples beliefs about higher octane adding performance.

Not if your bike says "please put 95RON in".

Usually your octane requirement is a sticker somewhere on the bike. Usually near the filler neck. Go by that.

Dont know what the hell "95ron" is anyways ..

( but looked it up and it is equivalent to 91 octane)

I wouldn't settle for 91, go 110-octane leaded gasoline or go home.
 
Use only unleaded gasoline of at least 87 pump octane (R/2 + M/2) or 91 octane or higher rated by the​
research method.​
Gasoline containing MTBE (Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether), less than 10% ethanol, or less than 5% methanol​
with appropriate cosolvents and corrosion inhibitor is permissible.


Ok so do I use 91 or 87?
