Best breakfast joints?

Either Flips at Hurontario and Bovaird in Brampton, or Jessie's at Matheson and Kennedy in Mississauga

Smitty's in Peterborough is pretty good!. All day breakfast. Mornings on the weekend are nuts.

Corras is great but I hate paying more for breakfast than lunch or dinner....

But my three best spots are, on the cheap, Steadmans in Gravenhurst ( it is an old department store with a diner ), For great bakery and quirky service, Marmilade Skies in Bala and the best place if you are really hungry, Marj's Country Kitchen in Alma

In Huntsville is good spot for food and easy on off the highway.
Terrific fruit and nut muffin that is a meal on it's own.

Cheap gas too. :D

Sauga to Alma is under an hour.....

The other places are long enough just to get the motor warmed up....

+1 for zets

since I moved I have not been there, but there is not a single item on their menu which is not incredibly delicious. Breakfast at any time of the day, their peameal sandwich is huge, im talking like 5 slabs of peameal slapped between bread!

one of my favs is the clubhouse sandwich, not exactly breakfast, but just make sure (not that you really can, so I just hope) one of the older guys makes it for you, some of the newer employees dont make it right (right order of ingredients etc)

You must also add the St. Lawrence Market - peameal bacon sandwich at the Carousel Bakery, it is known as the home of the award-winning "World Famous Peameal Bacon Sandwich."

The Market opens at 5 AM so you can eat one of these grab an espresso and be on your ride before the City wakes.

John's on Hwy 10, just south of King. Good food, generous portions and CLEAN.
Brampton Airport. Clean and quiet. Food's okay, neither great nor bad.
Always found Cora's expensive and the two times I went to a Sunset Grill, the coffee cups had lipstick on them (it wasn't my shade). I refuse to eat anywhere that isn't spotless.

Wexford restaurant, Warden and Lawrence.

820 million eggs cracked since 1958 they must be doing something right, oh yeah and freshly squeezed OJ.

The Grille on the Queensway in Etobicoke just East of the 427. SO GOOD.

my co-workers appreciate the diner across the street from that a lot more than grille.

I personally love Grenadier in the middle of High Park. Trees and the friendliest critters in the city.

But let's face it, it's really hard to f up breakfast! As long there are toast, eggs and coffee, I'm good!

Dundas Street Grill, Dundas Street West, Ontario, Canada

they make milkshakes, cora's doesn't...it's cheaper, and is your basic greasy spoon, but very nice restaurant.

The combination of lipstick and useless teenagers is a lethal mix. I should know. :)

I agree that most don't keep their restaurants clean enough. I'm a cleaning fanatic, my place is always spotless cause there is no other way.

The staff I saw were all well past their teen years. Very well past. No idea of the age of the original lipstick wearers but they favoured bright reds.
