Howcome they didnt beat him to the ground?
 
probably felt bad for his sorry *** trying to run on 50cc scooter...do you blame them? Most people wouldn't attempt that on a 250...
 
Years ago "someone I know" ran from the Police when they lived back in England. They were on a Yam DT100 and the copper was on a motorbike. The Yam got away by crossing a footbridge with bollards at the entrance, a feat that the Police bike with panniers etc couldn't manage.

English coppers tend not to beat people in public. But you can guarantee he fell up and down the stairs a few times on the way to the cells.
 
ha ha a riveting 15mph chase.

Good thing the chopper was tracking this one.

correct me if im wrong, But i herd they dont even carry guns? Or was it not ever officer carries them?
I have been a few times and never bothered to notice.

They are actually known for not carrying guns. Their logic is that they are forced to solve issues by less confrontational means.

There was a petition to arm them, after a few got shot.
They all carry batons I think
