Bell School Line now gravel?

Not sure why, but Sideroad 2 east of Appleby and at least some of Bell School Line (north of Sideroad 2) are now gravel roads.

Was this a speed measure? The roads were just fine a week ago.

I need to ride there once in a while, so this is going to become interesting.

Oh, interesting.

I could swear it looked like regular gravel (I was driving). There's even a "caution, loose gravel" sign on sideroad 2, but maybe they don't have a "caution, loose chipseal" sign :D.
May prompt people like me to pull out their smart phones and try to wiki it (just kidding).

What Brian said. They did Britannia and a few others in the area last year. I find it takes a couple of months before it settles in.

Haven't been on it but I've been on many of the others that they've done in the same time frame. All are rideable, but be careful at or approaching intersections, and some of the less-travelled routes may still have loose stone chips between the car tire tracks.
