Bell or Rogers for cable TV? Deal of the Century or just plain BS?

They came knocking at my door a few days later trying up sell me to HDTV, cause they know somethings up when you only want the internet. I showed them my HDTV antenna I built and told them to go **** themselves.

I built the same one a few years back and it worked really well. Was able to pick up several HD channels over the air.

I have an HD antenna mounted on my chimney, cable run to a HDHomerun in my basement, network cable to my PC with Win 7 Media Center and I pick up almost all Canadian and Buffalo OTA channels, plus I get all the PVR functionality from 7MC. Been doing that for years now, saved thousands...
If you NEED dedicated movie&sports channels (I don't), than pony up the cash and pay Rogers or Bell...

If you're wondering what a HDHomerun is, here you go:

I have an older version, but pretty much the same functionality.
