Virus/bug would die in hot tea.....that's why you boil water in places off the beaten track. An amateur poisoner is quite likely to screw things up in terms of dose and poison...you'd most likeLy be dead by now (suddenly and suspiciously). If your tenants are renting it is also highly unlikely they can afford radioisotopes or exotic metals which is really the way to go these days.

Rat poison easily detectable in system. Allergies....possibly, but anyone with allergies serious enough carries an epipen. Exotic isotopes are the way to go....just ask any Russian :)

Just don't fall asleep with your doors unlocked. No need to even visit the doctor who is trained in helping people specifically in situations like these which are oftentimes over-reacting.
