Before you buy that shiny gsxr

That's about what I'd expect to pay for an SS these days and I'm in my 30's.

If someone finds me a company that will insure an SS for what I pay now (under $50/month) I'll buy two, lol.

I've had the complete opposite experience to OP's. Got my 2017 insurance quote in the mail -- $1200 for both motorcycles (with multiline discount). When I called to confirm and finalise the coverage, they found a new deduction that reduced the premium to just over $1000 for both bikes. However, I've been riding for years and the bikes are not SS or dual sport, so that's the reason. Before deciding on TD, I shopped around for just motorcycle insurance and no one could touch TD's quote.

Yea everyone is different right lol.. I more so just posted it for a laugh and so we don't see a bunch of posts again about 22 year olds who already bought the bike and can't afford insurance again

Well, I'm at $101/mo for my liter bike, and I think my quote for a 750 was at about $85/mo. A 600 might get that low with my insurer ;)

That's horrible - Premium for my GSXR 1000 is around $1150 annually.

That doesn't seem right. I have an 09 gsxr 600, 26, 1 accident, 1 speeding and I'm at just over 2k a year.

Nope, accident 4 years ago, speeding last summer.

Dalton Timmies
And I'm still on my M2

How long have you had your M2 for and do you have any other policies with Dalton Timmis like car, house, etc?
