I saw these guys live at sneaky dee's back in the day, dunno what they're up to now...

Back in the day = OMG....I have kids older than that band.......anyway - the bass player bought the farm 10 yrs ago - cancer.

I only started this thread because I found that 1957 clip of "James Page" very interesting.
He's not my favorite, guitar player, but he's on my top 10.
David Gilmour, Mark Knoffler, Clapton I'd personally put before Page.

ummm... did you just add shadowy men on a shadowwy planet to a thread that has Led Zep,Hendrix, SRV, Primus,U2, Vai, and some other completely amazing artists ?

whyyyyyyyyyyyyy ?

My favourite guitarist is Edge from U2. It's his way to using technology to his benefit without going overkill, and he has a certain minimalist way (that works well with the technology he employs) to playing that is perfect for the songs he plays in.

Dude ... as a wanna be guitarist ... Edge can't play worth beans and uses technology (mostly echo) to hide that fact. I never could figure out what low-brow chose him for "It Might Get Loud"....
