Hey guys I have a 2011 bmw s1000rr, the bike just came back from budds motorrad had to get a recall done for fuel pump, 2 days after while riding I lost all power so I checked the battery and the connector is broken. I tried to reach out to the manager and they are not willing to help with this according to them they did not touch the battery even tho all my setting are changed like the clock etc. I never came across an issue like this so I am not sure how to repair it . Any kind of help is appreciated I’ll upload a picture so you get a better understanding

That's just a normal ring terminal you can pick up at Home Hardware or Canadian Tire.
Find out the size, strip the red insulation off the wire, remove whatever is left of the old ring terminal and crimp and solder the new ring terminal onto the exposed wire.

Yes it's necessary. Take it to a shop if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. Motorcycles are subject to a lot of heat, tension and vibration. If you just crimp it, it'll either fall out or the connection might be intermittent and cause you more expensive problems in the future.
