Anybody good with electrical in Barrie area willing/able to help me diagnose/repair a (likely) short on my 2008 ninja 250r?
My low beam headlight is burned out, and high beam doesn't come on, neither does high beam indicator when I flick the switch to on. Fuse is also blown, when I put in a new one, it blew right away.
Could the blown low bulb cause the blowing fuse and no highs? I don't want to replace the bulb if a short some where is just going to blow the bulb and a third fuse.

Tsdexter- had the same problem on a bike many years ago, turned out the short was the blown low beam filament. Can't say why, but I replaced the bulb and never blew the fuse again. Unfortunately I was in the middle of Ohio, 18 and alone. Thanks Mike from Ohio! Nothing like a random stranger (also a rider) trailering your bike to his house, then driving you 75 miles round trip to a bike shop, then feeding you, then insisting you stay the night and get a good start in the morning!
