Barrie and area

I much prefer my pool... but I have to admit it lacks the umm 'scenery' of the beach.. :D
 
That's too bad that you didn't go for a ride today....my friend and I got some sun today.

Looking forward to the next trip! That's if you decided to go on another "leisurely" ride.
 
Do you guys ever push off a bit later in the night? 8-830? 7pm is only doable for me about once a month due to my sched. I don't know where any twisties are yet in Barrie and I'd love to find them

Twisties IN Barrie? Haha. Not much, that I know of.. Wellington is decent. I dont know any with speed limits over 50km/h.
 
A somewhat fun ride around Barrie:


Take SR 25, at the end of Mapleview West (slight left then immediate right), all the way down to Line 5. Left on Line 5, Right on Denny Dr. Left on Sideroad 5, Left on to Hwy 27. Left on to Sideroad 10, Right onto Line 5 again, another right on Sideroad 25 again, left on 56 until you hit Hwy 90 (There's a fun corner at the end). Right onto 90, left onto George Johnson Road, Right onto Seadon Road, Left on Wilson, Left on Snow Valley, left onto George Johnson again...


At this point, I'm not sure if there's anything to connect up that's would be fun. Can someone chime in here?


As always: Watch for speed limits, slow moving farm equipment, kids in residential areas, horses in farm areas, deer... everywhere, and the gravel on corners.

Been raining here all day too.. I think we're gonna call it for tonight.

Sunday is looking nice for a few hundred kms.

I have new tires that need to be broken in. :)

Will be heading down to this event Sunday via some twisties if anyone is interested in tagging along.
Meet spot will be Innisfil Beach Rd/400 Tim's/Shell station 1pm.

Should be there. Not sure how long I'll stay at the blocko, but I'm in for the ride.
