Your more then welcome to come out to a meet, I'm sure some of the guys will be going to the ride for sight.
Btw what color is your 250?
Usually 6-7.
This year hasn't been decided yet but were leaning towards a quick local ride with some ice cream or picking a different destination for dinner every Thursday and riding out to it.
Still being debated but input is welcomed.
I agree. It was awesome when we had the consistent Wednesday meets last year.
I'm 90% sure it was thursday's last year too.. but regardless, thanks for the support Pat!
Oh man! I just thought you guys were ditching me!
I had something bike related I was doing on Wednesdays... now I'm all paranoid I'm having a senior moment.
This hasn't been decided stuff is why we end up with 3 bikes at a meet! lol We need to nail it down once and for all. I want to see 20 or 30 bikes a week out this year!!
I like thge idea of ridding out to a diffrent spot every week, but that's only going to get us people on the forums who remember to check this thread every week.. I want all the riders in Barrie out, on the forum or not, so I think it needs to be a specific spot, same place, same time every week. That way we can spread the word and after a while it'll be common knowledge.
I vote for Thursday's at 6:30 at Kawartha Dairy on Anne. Then from there if we want to go for a ride, we can pick a diffrent place every week, but I say the 6:30 meet is always there.
If you want 20-30 bikes out per meet then you need to make the meet later. I ride with 10-15 guys that are all in the Barrie area and we all don't get home till 7pm. That's where the problem lies. I tried to make it out to a few of your meets last year at Essa only to show up and find everyone left to go somewhere (Toronto?). Personally I normally go to the Orillia Meet on Mondays since they meet 7pm +. I would much prefer to stay local though and get to know some people.
Adrian
yea Pat, it was thurs last year.
+1 on ice cream. The prob with later meets is that by the time you want to get out for a ride anywhere, it's dark. It's not like there's a lot of twisties to ride around barrie anyway.
Luc,
Did you get your bike all fixed up?
I agree I vote for Thursday's at 6:30 at Kawartha Dairy on Anne, even if we say 6:30-7:00 to get those later commuters and anywone who wants to ride can head out and those of us addicted to ice cream will stay and see how you eat an ice cream cone in a full face helmet!!! :lmao:
