yea, it would be a day trip for me for sure. I wonder if it's worth back roading it most of the way there? it's over 2.5 hours by way of google maps, why not make it 3-3.5 and see if we can find some better back route. then we can slab it home. either way it's a long day, but I have no plans to stay in dover, and the closest family I have is Brampton, so at that point I may as well take the extra hour to come home.
 
just looked, this is the only PD13 this year, there are 3 of them in 2012, Jan, Apr and July
 
yea, it should be busy because its the only one this year..

i dont care how we get there as long as we aim for that back entrance i mentioned.. if you want to plot out a route with gps coordinates, or via google maps and send it to me, i can have a look, or i can send to you.. either way, let me know..


im thinking hwy / fastest route back at night though..
 
agreed on the fastest route back, but I'm not sure the best route to get there. I know you aren't going Booya, but have you got any insight as to a decent route there?
 
il map out a route tomorrow or the next day and pm a link to you and mike for input / changes / suggestions..
 
I like the idea of back roads there and hwy/fastest route back as well. there has to be some decent roads to go on for the ride there that will give a bit more fun to the ride. but i am sure after the long day we would all just want the easiest way home...
 
other alternative that just dawned on me is to meet up with a GTA group and go down to PD13 with them, that's always an option too...

Thanks Boooya. we have pm'd some routes to each other, don't think there has been a decision yet though.

Won't be able to make meet , but for those interested!!!
I have a major itch to put some miles on the bike so will be heading to Algonquin Park for the day on Saturday. Full days event backroading thru some nice twisty roads. Won't post up route but your more then welcome to come along if the wifes let you out of your cages.
Pace will be legal, I'm going to relax an enjoy the scenery.

Would love to go with you. But I gotta work. And same with hooters. Damn work interfering.
 
would love to go, but working also. besides it's the opposite direction to GP Bike's Triumph demo this weekend. I'm really tempted to come down with something Friday afternoon so I can go try out a daytona 675 :o
